We run a NON TOXIC studio and will be offering artist printmakers the opportunity to use our studio.
Prices and times are outlined below.

NEW OPENING TIMES: if you would like to visit the studio or use the printmaking studio for open access, these are the times that the studio is open:
Saturday 11.00 -5.30pm
Sunday 10.30 - 5.30pm
Your first session costs £10 for the first hour and covers an introduction on how to use equipment.
Visiting Artists: £4 an hour
Studio Artists: £2.50 an hour
Exposure and Wash out only (screenprinting): £5 an hour for first two hours, then £4 an hour after that.
Pay up front for 10 hours: £32
Pay up front for 20 hours: £60

PLEASE NOTE:
We don't have a metal cutting guillotine - you have to bring your intaglio plates already cut.
HEALTH AND SAFETY:
You will need to do a Health and Safety induction before starting your open access session. You will need to factor this into the time you book for your first session. This will cover how to work all the equipment and what to do in the event of an emergency.

WHAT YOU CAN BUY OR HIRE:
Squeegees and Screens for an additional hire charge per session: £4 (A3 or smaller), £6 (A2), £12 (for larger than A2).
PLEASE NOTE: we charge a £30 deposit for screen hire, the deposit is returned when you have washed out the screen and squeegee to the same condition that you received it.
the deposit is NOT returned if you have 1.let ink dry on the screen or squeegee, 2. have torn the mesh, 3. have not removed your image from the screen so that it is absolutely clean for the next person to use.
Screenprinting UV exposure emulsion to coat your screens: £4 (A3 or smaller), £6 (A2), £12 (for larger than A2).
Paper: newsprint, tissue, bread and butter, Somerset
Copper plates: we will have plates already cut to size and priced accordingly
Zinc plates: we will have plates already cut to size and priced accordingly
Lino: we will have plates already cut to size and priced accordingly
ACETATE: 50p a metre
