Kirsten Schmidt
Fine Art Printmaker Kirsten Schmidt has been living and working in London since 1987. After Art Foundation in Newham Community College she completed a BA Hons Degree in Silversmithing-3D Design at Camberwell College of Art.
Etching metal for surface pattern led to etching for printmaking and over the years her passion for printmaking has led her to work in many other techniques such as colographs, screenprinting,linoprinting,drypoints and monoprinting.
She particularily loves combining several techniques in one image, thus creating artworks with depth and texture.
Kirsten sells her work through galleries in London and Leeds and from the Inky Cuttlefish website.Her work is widely collected internationally.
